Pillars of Ashla in an environment of free, honest, and mutually-respectful communication among members, council members, the guild leader, and friends. We demonstrate our trust for each other by communicating directly with each other in a spirit of cooperation.
Guild members are encouraged to communicate readily with the guild leader and members of the council. Members can expect said leader and council members to lend a patient, understanding, objective, and discreet ear and to offer assistance as appropriate.
The guild leader and council will communicate openly with the guild via the forums, in-game chat, Mumble, etc. Additionally, guild meetings will be scheduled on a regular basis and as needed. Participation in guild meetings is optional unless for some reason the participation of a specific individual is key to the meeting.
Humor and fun are encouraged in guild chat, on voice servers such as Mumble, and on the guild website. Attacks and slurs will not be tolerated, either against an individual or a group. The topics of politics and religion should be avoided in general guild chat, including in-game, on voice servers, and on the guild website. However, discussion topics between individuals and within small groups is up to the participants. One should not admit to participating in criminal activity in guild chat, on voice servers, or on the guild website. Please be aware that some people may choose to use strong language or discuss mildly adult topics in general guild chat. Graphic adult content, however, is not permitted. Guild chat, voice servers, and the forums should stay at or below a rating of R.
